Candidates must be considering a subject for delivery and be aiming to achieve/or have achieved a qualification and/or have experience in their subject/skill at the appropriate level.
Everyone on the course designs, delivers and evaluates a 15 minute micro-teach, gaining invaluable feedback from their teacher and peers.
We designed this course mainly for two types of individuals, the ones who want to start their career in teaching and the ones who are already professional teachers.
The first group will solely need this course for their complete understanding and step by step guide to becoming a teacher.
However, the second group can enrich their status as teachers with industry recognised national level teaching qualification for developing their career.I have also outlined the modes of communication that I use in my teaching, the potential barriers to communication when teaching, and how to motivate learners to overcome the communication barriers.Assignment (CTLLS): – Assessment and Feedback In this assignment, I have explored the concept of assessment and its role (theory) in the teaching and learning cycle and then finish by evaluating (application) 3 types of assessment.This is a 16 week course, with sessions running on either a Tuesday evening from 6.00pm to 9.00pm or a Thursday morning from 9.00am to 12.00pm. The Level 3 Award is an introduction to teaching that will provide an insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training.The qualification provides an introduction on how to plan and deliver inclusive teaching/training sessions and how to assess and record decisions.Learners are assessed by written assignments, self reflection and microteaching sessions to peers.There are numerous career opportunities following the completion of this qualification in lifelong learning and trainer establishments.The aim of the course is to give learners the confidence and knowledge to teach.By the end of the course learners will understand how to set up an effective and inclusive learning environment.With this course, you will be recognised as a qualified and experienced trainer who can lead a group of students successfully and also earn a good salary.This course also helps you to become a freelance instructor in many fields.
